Stefan Krüskemper

Since 2009, Stefan Krüskemper & Kerstin Polzin’s Berlin research group has been taking a performative approach to issues of art and public space. In practice, their work involves a research method that is as discursive as it is performative. It uses body awareness and positioning within a space to give shape to abstract questions, allowing them to be physically experienced. The structural constellations that the performances create give rise to a complex discourse on questions of art and reality.

Die Berliner Forschungsgruppe von Stefan Krüskemper & Kerstin Polzin untersucht seit 2009 performativ Fragestellungen zu Kunst und öffentlichem Raum. Praktischer Ansatz ihrer Intervention »Superconstellation« ist eine gleichermaßen performative wie diskursive Untersuchungsmethode, die abstrakte Fragestellungen anhand von Raumpositionen und Körperwahrnehmungen erlebbar und gestaltbar macht. Mittels performativer Strukturaufstellungen entsteht ein komplexer Diskurs über Fragen der Kunst und der Wirklichkeit.
